Windows server 2003은 XP와 같다고 봐도 무방하다. 즉 2003에서 되는건 xp에서도 되고
xp에서 안되는거는 2003에서도 안된다는점
요즘 OS에 비교하면 윈도우10과 윈도우 서버 2016 이 비슷한 개념이다 윈도우 10의 서버 버전이
윈도우 서버 2016이라고 보면된다.
- EOS (End of Service)
Windows server 2003 의 지원종료 시점은 2015년 7월이었다. 현시점을 기준으로
이미 7년이나 지나버렸다.

이와같이 EOS를 종류별로 잘 포스팅해서 정리해놓으신 분이 있어서 참고했다.
연장지원종료까지 생각해서 2016에 테스트하기 딱 알맞다고 생각했다. ( 윈도우10 pro버전으로 함께 테스트 중이기 때문)

위의 링크로 들어가면 Windows server 2016을 180동안 평가판으로 사용할 수 있고
가상환경에 설치후 IIS설정을 통해 테스트를 했다.
영어 버전으로 설치가 되지만 제어판에서 한글팩 설치후 사용하면 테스트 하는데 전혀 문제가 없다.
